Coming Home Prep

Syd couldn't wait for mom and Brynley to get home and wanted to make them something.  She made this giant welcome home card, with a rainbow house, stars, a dog and of course a pic of mom and BQ.  Thanks for the idea Anne!

Big Sister

Syd has been so excited over the last few months since she found out she was having a sister.  While she didn't get the name she was looking for (Liz), she was ecstatic when she got the chance to go see baby Brynley after school.  All she wants to do is hold the baby...that is, after eating some Nutter Butters mom had in her room :)

Brynley's first visitors

Declan and GiGi were Brynley's first visitors on Wednesday.  Declan was enamored by the sleeping baby but soon was ready to explore the rest of the baby's room at the hospital.  No sign of any dimples on Brynley like you see on Declan and Sydney. 

Welcome Brynley Quinn!

Welcome Brynley (pronounced BRIN-LEE for those wondering) Quinn to the Komo family!  Four days late didn't hold back our little diva from making an entrance to this world at 9:51PM on Tuesday night (March 4th) right after an ice storm, arriving at 7lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long (compared to 7lbs 15 oz, 20.5 inches for Syd and 7 lbs 3 oz 20 inches for Declan).  She has a little blond peach fuzz on her head which again was right in between Syd's dark moppy hair and Declan's bald melon.  Kristi and Brynley are doing great after a long day at Duke's hospital.  Sydney and Declan can't wait to meet her tomorrow!

Father-Daugther Dance

Syd had her first daddy-daughter dance at school. She was so absurdly excited to attend this and stayed til the last song was played. She also told Chris that she was so glad she was going with Dad b/c if Mom wasn't there she could eat as many treats as she wanted....... Smart girl!
