Christmas Eve Lunch at Cinderella's Castle

We had a royal lunch at Cinderella's castle on Christmas Eve. Syd got to meet all of her favorite princesses and proudly wore her Sleeping Beauty gown. We are not sure who had more fun, Mommy or Sydney.....

Disney Christmas

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Disney World this year and had tons of fun. We had already been to Disney earlier in the year so we were able to do some different things this time around. We spent a lot of time meeting characters, eating at new restaurants, and strolling around, instead of focusing on rides. We had lunch at Cinderella's castle and spent time at Epcot. Disney loves Christmas as much as we do and it was a very festive atmosphere.

Sydney had a great time, although she was exhausted through much of the trip. We skipped naps, stayed up really late, and never stopped moving. She hung in through most of it and only had a few meltdowns..=) Sadly, all of our running around finally caught up to her and she got sick the morning we flew home. She started throwing up at 4 a.m. (flight left at 8:30 a.m.) and got sick 6 times in 2 hours (in security line, in bag check line, on Disney bus....not fun). She hardly cried throughout it all and seemed to handle it well, especially being that she has never really gotten sick before. She miraculously stopped throwing up once we got through security and hasn't been sick since!

Family Christmas Party

We had everyone over to celebrate a little Christmas at our place. Syd (still dressed in her Princess outfit) had fun playing with her tent (thanks Kev and Col) and puzzles (thanks 'cousins'), and had fun chasing Dylan, Andrew and Danny around the basement. Kristi whipped up some pimento cheese biscuits, smore's cupcakes, and some other treats for everyone to enjoy...

Christmas Morning Presents

Santa brought some great presents for Sydney this year. She loved her purple computer, thomas (and train tracks), playdough sets, Sleeping Beauty dress (to be used next week for dinner with Cinderella) and more...

Christmas Morning

On our 'Christmas morning', Syd was excited as soon as she woke up asking if Santa had come back. Here she is as she waits at the top of the stairs...

'Christmas Eve' preparations

With our trip down South approaching, we wanted to celebrate Christmas at our house before we left. We told Sydney Santa was coming early, so got the reindeer food out and got Santa's milk and cookies ready to go...

Feeneys

Syd went out for an afternoon with Grandmother and Granddad to get in the holiday spirit at Feeneys. She loved the decorations, animals, and like the triplets, also loved the koi pond!

Gingerbread House

Syd loved 'glueing' together the muffin man's (thanks Shrek) house today. We were just happy she didn't eat all the parts :)

I think we're going to need to find another one of these to do next week, as it was a good indoor activity.

Santa Brunch!

A trip up to Doylestown CC for breakfast with Santa was a lot of fun as Syd got to see the big guy and spend some time with her cousins!
