Jumperoo (VID)

With Sydney now motoring around the room and the exer-saucer already in semi-retirement, the jumperoo may soon be ready to see it's last day. Until then, here is a preview of what we'll be missing out on.

Wedding Crasher

Although she was not officially on the guest list, Sydney attempted to crash Alyssa and Jay's wedding.

Here she is all dressed up in what she thought was an outfit that would blend in with the crowd.

If she would have only practiced her back-story a little more, I think she would have been fine -- even with that sailor outfit, who would have ever believed she was the commander of a nuclear submarine...that was a bit over the top. Keep it simple for next time!

Wedding Babysitters

Syd was able to line up the best babysitters for the wedding weekend in Albany (Grandmother and Granddad)! They were amazing to come up for the two days so Kristi and I could make it to the rehearsal, wedding and reception.

We took Syd to one of the local parks to play and for her first swing ride.

1st Flight

Stocked with a full array of bottles and Cheerios (our new favorite cereal) we ventured out on our first flight with Syd up to Albany for Alyssa and Jay's wedding. We not only survived the flight (the layover in Newark was a little questionable) but Syd did great on the plane. I'm not sure we'll be doing any 20 hour flights to China anytime soon, but this is a start :)

Fuqua Graduation!!

Syd was able to celebrate my Fuqua Graduation. Here she is, playing with my cap:

One last walk through the school...all the flags in this hall represent a current student's home country...I believe we have about 100..

Day trip to Savannah

We took a day trip into Savannah. We were able to get Syd on a covered carriage ride tour through the historic areas of the city and then walk down the River Walk. I'm not sure if Sydney or Kristi loved the candy store on the river more....actually, I do, hands down it was Kristi (chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered marshmellows, chocolate bark products...yum!)

Our house had a little pool out back, which we took full advantage of after getting home from the beach everyday. Here she is lounging with her bottle...quite a diva.

Tybee Island (Pics/Vids)

Our MBA class chose to go down to Tybee Island, GA for the annual pre-graduation beach week. With more than 100 students descending on the small island outside of Savannah, it was sure to provide one last hurrah for many of the soon to be graduates. We were in the family house, i.e. the only with kids, with the Millers (Ben, 4) and Taggards (Jack 4, Piper ~5 mos). Again, Syd absolutely loved the beach (except the sand sandwich she made) and water...

1st Bike Ride (Pic/VID)

Here we go on our morning bike ride (Syd's 1st ever) in Hilton Head. She was loving it!

When I started going too slow, she would kick my butt to get us going faster....

All that fresh air took it's toll on our little lady, as she decided to call it quits and move on to nap time.
