Aquarium!

We had a fun time at the aquarium with Grandmother and Granddad a couple weeks back. Syd loved being able to touch the sharks, sting-rays and blue lobster!

With no nap all day between the beach and rides....Syd was out cold before we could get back to St. Charles.

I CAN SWIM!!!!

She can swim!!!! Sydney is now officially an independent swimmer, before the age of 3! We are impressed!!!

Declan has been rolling over since about 8 weeks! With Sydney's encouragement of course.

Bumbo

2 months old

Happy 2 month birthday (a few weeks back)

At his 2 month appointment, Declan weighed in at 13 lbs 13 oz (85th percentile) and though he hasn't grown much taller (37th percentile for height), we're working on it.

He also had a visit with the pediatric cardiologist to check out his heart murmur. His EKG and heart ultrasound were both normal so we don't need to worry about it anymore!

News from Declan's development...

He is smiling like a champ, loves laughing with his big sister, and has started sitting up in his bumbo seat.. (at only 8 weeks!!!). He eats about every 3-5 hours and it only takes him about 5 minutes to gulp down his meal. He is a very efficient eater!

Our biggest excitement is Declan sleeps through the night!!He has been going to bed around 7ish and sleeps until about 4 or 5 a.m. Wakes up for a snack and then goes back to bed until around 7/8 a.m. What a difference from Sydney who didn't sleep through the night until at least 4 or 5 months... wait she still doesn't sleep through the night..=) we spend more time getting up with her now than we do with Declan. ;)
