Mesmerized by pillows and couches

For some reason Syd is completely mesmerized by our pillows and couches. She just stares at them and laughs over and over -- It's a trip.

Christmas Presents w/the Fam

Once we got everyone up around 11AM we were able to rally the group together in the living room.

Syd had the chance to sit with Mom and open her first Christmas morning present.

Uncle Mark looks like he had a very late night...must have been helping Santa Claus deliver presents to the local orphanage.


Reid got Kristi the old standy-by from the 80's, the original Chia Pet -- we can't wait to get growing!!!

Christmas Morning

Syd was up and dressed early on Christmas morning, though she had to wait for hours and hours until her uncles finally arose.

Syd was a little spoiled (shocker) and got to open some more presents -- this time with her Great-Grandparents!

Great-Grandmother made (we're talking weeks and weeks of stitching here) a beautiful needlepoint stocking that Syd will get to hang every year as she grows up.


Of course, we can't leave out an Irish ornament for our little leprechaun.

Syd's first Christmas Presents!!!

Syd got to open her first Christmas presents from Grandmother and Granddad a bit early because we were heading out of town.

She was enraptured by the wrapping paper..

Komelasky Brunch

We made it up to the (is it 6th annual now?) Komelasky Family Brunch at Spring Mill and had a great time catching up with a whole lot of family and friends. It was great to have everyone together for the holidays.

The grandparents got to spend some QT with Syd this weekend.

Kim crushed me getting this out last week, but Sydney finally got to meet the triplets (her cousins) - Dylan, Danny and Drew at my parents place

Here the boys were able to sit still (or as close as possible) for a minute to grab a picture with Sydney.


After watching her for a minute and deciding she doesn't bite yet...



Danny decided to pat Syd on the head.
