Exhaustion took over by the middle of the first quarter.. UVA was playing so terribly that Syd couldn't stand to keep her eyes open anymore and thus took a little catnap amid all the booing.

We made it to our first UVA game of the season. Sydney loved running around on the lawn. Last year's game, Syd only made it through the first quarter, sad to say, this year was not much better. But since UVA is terrible, no one was too sad to leave..

Pushing my own Stroller

Sydney now loves to push her own stroller. Good thing we bought her one for her birthday!!

Kristi wanted to make a special cake for Sydney's first birthday, so she gathered all the supplies to make a little princess carriage. She got the cake mold, and icing tools, food coloring, and got to work. From scratch, she made the cake and icing...




Diligently working, she put the final touches on.

Happy Birthday to Sydney McKenna!!

Here's Sydney in her party hat (which she doesn't really like). We couldn't get her to wear it for more than a millisecond but we managed to get a shot or two!

Can't believe this is what our little princess looked like a year ago! She has grown so much!

Syd really likes playing with her beach toys now. She especially likes dragging her wagon back and forth the walkway that leads from the beach to the house. We probably did at least 100 laps over the course of a week.
