Hotel Hershey

We took a little trip to the Hotel Hershey over Memorial Day weekend. Syd had a great time splashing around in the pool while Mom and Dad took turns at the spa! It was a much needed break from all the recent craziness with Dad's work and another fun stop on our tour of PA.

Jumping

Syd has become quite a jumper on Mom's trampoline and in her gymnastics class. She is not afraid to take some dangerous leaps!

Careful Daddy!!!

As always, Dad is much more daring than Mom on our adventures and was reprimanded multiple times by Mom to please be careful while jumping over rocks with Sydney on his back when we were hiking Bushkill Falls. Sydney picked up on Mom's instructions and kept telling Daddy over and over to be careful!!

More waterfalls!

Bushkill Falls

We drove out to Bushkill Falls (otherwise known as the Niagara of PA) and did some adventurous hiking to see 8 different waterfalls. Syd had a pretty nice ride on Daddy's back and Daddy had to climb lots of very steep stairs with an extra 40 pounds on his back! It was fun for everyone!

Daddy home!!!!

Dad doesn't always get home before Syd goes to bed, so when he does, she is ecstatic to see him. She loves staring out the window and watching his car pull up!

Coles!!!

Sydney's best friend at school is a little boy named Cole (who she calls Coles). She talks about him nonstop and constantly asks about him!

Your Baby Can Read!!! (well sort of)

When Sydney was a few months old, we purchased the "Your Baby Can Read" program from an infomercial. We were skeptical at first, but Sydney has learned so much from the flashcards and videos. Although she is certainly not reading, she has learned a lot of words!!

Birthday Party Part 2

Sydney continued her weekend festivities with her cousins at their house! She loved the sandbox and playing with the boys' new toys!

Happy Birthday Carter Triplets

Syd got to spend the weekend celebrating with her cousins for their 3rd birthday! She had a great time at the zoo running around!

Syd's new favorite place

Sydney's new favorite place to hang out (and attempt to sleep at night) is "Mommy's beck" Whenever she wakes up at night or in the a.m. the first words out of her mouth are "Mommy's beck!!" She loves snuggling under our comforter and watching movies. We are working hard to convince her that "Sydney's crib" is a much nicer place to sleep.....
