Fall Break excursion to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens. This is the first day where it was actually pretty cool out all day. Looks like the summer weather is officially gone, but given that its almost November, I think we can handle that.

A big thanks to Emily who came to town last week. She spent the whole week with us, helping Kristi out all day and night while I was in school and going through some interviews. It was definitely a huge help and we can't wait to have her back!!

Playing an early game of cops and robbers with the wee one? I wish...if only it was that simple...

So last week as a bout of post-campout Ebola virus spread throughout school, I ended up with a little bit of a cold. Kristi did an awesome job of picking up the slack for the most part, but when she went down for a quick nap...I had to improvise when taking care of Syd. The bjorn and some sort of mask were all I could come up with as I tried to keep the germs to myself. We held our collective breaths over the next couple days, but luckily Syd did not end up with any symptoms.

Hmmm..I wonder if there is a market out there for this...
