Big Girl Bed Part 2

And here's how our first two nights have gone....



Actually, she has done fairly well. She yells over the gate for a few minutes and calls us but once Mom goes up and lies down with her for a few minutes, she usually falls asleep. She has definitely had a much later bedtime due to the fact that it takes about an hour to convince her to stay in the bed, but we are hoping that in a few weeks she will get the hang of it. She seems to be sleeping much better through the night, however, which is probably due to the fact that she doesn't bump into the side of her crib and kick off her blankets all night in the bed. In the morning, she waits until her clock turns green to call us, so we think she is catching on!

Big Girl Bed!

So we decided to go ahead and make an effort to transition Sydney to her bed. She doesn't sleep all that well in her crib anyway so we figured we may as well give it a shot. We bought her an entire bedroom set, very princessy, with a four poster canopy bed and all the works; however, we didn't want to go through setting all that up until after we move. So we are just testing out the bed first to see how it goes......
