Our first football game!!

So we ventured out today to see what would happen if we tried to go to the UVA-Duke football game. I will not speak of the game itself ever, ever again, but we had a successful outing. We weren't even sure if they would let us bring the stroller inside, but it was not a problem, as Wallace Wade stadium (which brings back thoughts of our high school stadium) has a whole section where you can sit at the top of the stands with your stroller.


We took off at halftime (still tied at 3 at that point), not wanting to push our luck, which turned out to be very fortuitous from a game perspective.

Fuqua Friday...First Happy Hour!!

After a long week Kristi and Sydney were ready for a big night out on the town. With Kristi's cousin Katie in town to help out, we all made the trip up to Fuqua Friday for our first family happy hour event :)

Every time people from school have seen Sydney she is sleeping, amidst all sorts of noise and commotion...and can't believe that she isn't sleeping through the night.

Komelasky's Come to Visit too!!

Grandmother and Granddad Komelasky came on down for a weekend visit. We had a great day spending time with Syd, and even made our first family road trip out to lunch at Saladelia. We stocked up on some food, and even had the chance to get some naps in throughout the day. Syd did a great job entertaining her new buddies.






Coincidentally, Syd had her best night of sleep last night, sleeping for consecutive hours..not once but twice!! We definitely need to get these guys back again sometime soon!!!

Lots of Family Visitors!!

GG (Grandma Grubbs) was able to spend two nights with us and help Kristi out all day.


Markus not only helped take care of the baby but worked hard mowing our lawn and making a trek to Baby's R Us. Well worth stacking up on some hot pockets if he keeps coming by. With him and Matt now hunkered down in Raleigh, Kristi has them on speed dial.


Robin and Tom popped in for a visit on Saturday too!!
