We spent the weekend in Freeport, Maine with some Duke friends! Syd had a blast playing with the kids!

Still Love Shoes! (pic/vid)

Sydney still loves wearing Mom and Dad's shoes, but has recently discovered Mom's stash of shoes in the closet. These seem to fit her better and she likes the high heels.

Yes!!

Sydney's favorite word recently is "no." She says this in response to everything, even when she means yes. The past few weeks we have worked hard on teaching her to say yes and now she can easily distinguish between the two. Whenever I ask her something, I give her a choice of "yes" or "no" and she has become a pro at making her demands clear!! Here she is telling me that its bathtime!

After weeks of cold weather, we finally were able to venture out for the day! Syd loved the carousel!

It's either really, really cold in our basement, OR I think we know where that last piece of blue chalk went...

Feeling better

After a couple days of feeling a little icky, a late night 105.3 degree fever and ER run, Syd is finally back to feeling better. Here she is as she recuperating!

Paa Paas!!!!!! (translation: Princess!!!) vid

Sydney loves watching her Barbie Princess movie and has gotten really into princesses of any kind. She loves dancing to their songs and even knows a few words! Once last week, I saw her stand on the couch, throw her arms up, and sing "Free!!!!" (which is a line in the movie)
