Our Favorite Place!

We stopped by the Duke Gardens last week, one of our favorite spots to roam! Sydney actually posed for a few pictures this time around, although she never quite looked at the camera (she did say cheese each time though so we are making progress).

Hiding!

Sydney has discovered a sweet little hiding spot behind Dad's shirts in the closet. She runs there every night after bath time and waits for Mom to come find her. As soon as she hears the approaching footsteps she burrows deeper behind the shirts, but you can almost always see 2 little feet sticking out to give a clue as to her whereabouts.....

Still Love Shoes! (pic/vid)

Sydney still loves wearing Mom and Dad's shoes, but has recently discovered Mom's stash of shoes in the closet. These seem to fit her better and she likes the high heels.

Yes!!

Sydney's favorite word recently is "no." She says this in response to everything, even when she means yes. The past few weeks we have worked hard on teaching her to say yes and now she can easily distinguish between the two. Whenever I ask her something, I give her a choice of "yes" or "no" and she has become a pro at making her demands clear!! Here she is telling me that its bathtime!

After weeks of cold weather, we finally were able to venture out for the day! Syd loved the carousel!

Feeling better

After a couple days of feeling a little icky, a late night 105.3 degree fever and ER run, Syd is finally back to feeling better. Here she is as she recuperating!
