I love my bottle (VID)

Sydney LOVES when its time for her bottle. She can grab and hold the bottle all by herself. If she sees a bottle on the table she gets very excited and starts reaching for it!!

Studying with Daddy

Syd likes studying with her daddy at the computer. She loves trying to type and send facebook messages.

Syd is beyond just sitting in her exer-saucer now as she likes to play with all the different toys on it, always with a big smile!

While watching the video monitor, we have found Syd sleeping in so many funny positions, which has only gotten funnier now that she rolls over and can scoot herself all around the crib. One of her go to moves is to cover her face with her toys. Here she is balancing her animal on her face as she is out cold.

Syd likes to jam on her music center...her keyboard skills are quite impressive!

Of course, she likes to ham it up for the crowd...

Great Gran-Gran

Syd finally got a chance to get up to Richmond and visit her Great Gran-Gran. They had a great time out at lunch!


Aunt Katie was able to swing by and catch up with Syd too.

Syd did a great job throughout the service. Not only did she not cry, but she was smiling and laughing throughout.


She loved the attention as she got to go around to everyone.

Christening Brunch

Brunch at the house was great with our family and friends!

Baptism Day!

Today was Sydney's Christening at the Duke Chapel. Here we are getting ready for family and friends to come have brunch at the house.

Sydney loves playing with all her toys.. she especially likes tasting them.

Fish out of Water (VID)

After rolling over last week, Sydney has now been trying to crawl... however, she can't quite get moving...

Sydney is rolling around all the time now! She loves flipping on her stomach; however, once she gets there, she is never quite sure what to do next!!

All week Syd has been trying to roll over...and every time she does we miss it. We turn around and she is already on her stomach. Here she fools us into believing she is going to roll over as she reaches out for Lil Syd (her finger puppet doll).

Let it Snow!

On the threat of snow, NC shut down all its local schools (Duke not included) last night before a flake even fell to the ground. This severe winter blasting led to record accumulations of approximately 2 inches of snow.
